Started in late 2007/early 2008 as a duo consisting of Andrew Mayton and Pat Hammon, Pallid then shifted to the main output for Andrew Mayton's work, focusing on creating melancholy soundscapes for moments of quiet contemplation, making heavy use of loops and oscillating delay.
In 2010-11, Mayton was joined by EJ Reilly and Jon Rodman.
